Cycle Counter

JPA Workforce - Dallas is working with a client in their search to fill a 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7am to 3:30pm, Cycle Counter position in Roanoke, TX. The pay rate is $16-$18.00 HOURLY-DOE. This position is entry-level. Inventory & Forklift experience is a plus. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Cycle Counter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced in inventory processes. You’ll be responsible for accurately counting inventory, maintaining records, and helping ensure inventory accuracy throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Use a laptop and Excel to enter and track data
• Send clear and timely emails related to inventory discrepancies
• Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and report findings
• Work in warehouse conditions, including high heat
• Walk and stand for long periods (8+ hours daily)
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures

Education: No Requirements

Experience: 12 months

Physical:

• Standing & Walking: Must be able to stand and walk for more than 8 hours per day.
• Endurance for Physical Labor: Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and lift items if necessary, up to 70lb if needed.
• Work Environment: Must be comfortable working in hot conditions (non-climate-controlled warehouse).
• Overtime Availability: Must be available to work overtime regularly, sometimes on short notice.

Skills:

• Attention to Detail / Accuracy: Able to count and record inventory with a high level of precision.
• Basic Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using a laptop, Excel spreadsheets, and email.
• Inventory Experience: Familiar with warehouse inventory processes and cycle counting.
• English Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Able to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Team Player: Works well with others and contributes to a productive team environment.
