Lumper

JPA Workforce - Dallas is working with a client in their search to fill a 1st Shift 7AM TO 3:30PM, Lumper position in Roanoke, TX. The pay rate is $16.00 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Job Description:

Looking for detail-oriented, motivated individuals to join our warehouse team as lumper. As a lumper, you will play a key role in ensuring that customer orders are accurately selected, packaged, and ready for shipment. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in physically active roles and are looking to build a career in the logistics and supply chain industry.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products based on order specifications using handheld scanners or pick sheets
• Prepare and organize picked items for packing and shipping
• Ensure items are handled with care to avoid damage
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the picking area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Meet or exceed daily productivity goals and accuracy standards
• Communicate with team leads or supervisors about inventory issues or order discrepancies
• Assist with inventory counts or restocking when needed

Education: No Requirements

Experience: 12 months

Physical:

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment 
• Ability to operate warehouse tools or equipment (carts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely

• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Related Experience: Previous warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics experience is a plus but not required – we provide training, Ability to read and interpret order forms, pick tickets, or handheld scanning devices, Experience with RF scanners is a bonus
