JPA Workforce - Dallas is working to fill a 2nd Shift 1pm-10:30pm, CNC Machine Operator (Computer Numerically Controlled Machine Operator) position in Carrollton, TX. The pay rate is $15.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.
Description:
A manufacturing role responsible for operating CNC machinery used to cut, shape, finish corrugated or other materials according to production specifications. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity, offering the potential for permanent employment based on performance and attendance.
What you'll do:
- Operating CNC machines according to work instructions and production schedules
- Loading raw materials into machines and unloading finished parts
- Monitoring machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy
- Measuring and inspecting parts using basic measuring tools
- Performing routine machine adjustments as directed
- Reading work orders, blueprints, or production instructions
- Maintaining production records and documentation
- Keeping work areas clean and organized
- Reporting machine malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors
- Following all safety and quality procedures
Education: No formal education required.
Experience: 24 months
High school diploma or GED preferred, Basic manufacturing or machine operation knowledge preferred, Ability to learn CNC processes and procedures, Experience may be preferred but entry-level candidates are often considered, Strong attendance and reliability, Ability to follow written and verbal instructionsPhysical:
- Standing for extended periods (8–12 hours)
- Frequent walking throughout the production area
- Lifting materials weighing up to 25–50 pounds
- Reaching, bending, crouching, and twisting
- Manual dexterity for handling parts and tools
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Visual ability to inspect finished products and measurements
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with machine noise
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe boots as required
