JPA Workforce is working with a client in their search to fill a 2nd Shift (1:30PM-10PM), Machine Operator position in Carrollton, TX. The pay rate is $16.00 HOURLY.
This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.
Description:
We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented, and bilingual individuals to operate and maintain paper bag converting and printing machines. The ideal candidate is comfortable working around large machinery, following safety protocols, and performing hands-on cleaning and minor adjustments to keep production running smoothly.
What you'll do:
- Operators will oversee running our paper bag printing machines.
- Reading orders to make sure the right image is being printed, correct paper and correct ink are being used.
- Install rolls of paper onto the feeder.
- Make sure ink levels are sufficient.
- Clean certain areas of the machines.
- Help maintain a clean machine so that it runs smoothly longer.
- Troubleshoot issues and make minor adjustments.
- Minimize waste by making sure the machine is calibrated correctly (adjusting when needed).
- Quality check during run and check ink consistency during run.
Education: No formal education required.
Experience: 6 months
Would prefer individuals who have experience working around large machinery in a manufacturing plant. These are not general labor type of individuals., Ability to use some basic tools such as Allen keys, wrenches, and pliers, Must be strong enough to lift raw materials (up to 50lbs).

- Would prefer individuals who have experience working around large machinery in a manufacturing plant. These are not general labor type of individuals.
- Ability to use some basic tools such as Allen keys, wrenches, and pliers.
- Understands safety basics (making sure that they follow proper protocols before reaching into the machine and following procedures for opening pressurized cannisters for glue)
- Must be strong enough to lift raw materials (up to 50lbs).
- Be able to crawl through small spaces to clean machines occasionally.
- Must also be comfortable going into the machines to clean out areas that have trouble. Basically, not afraid of getting dirty.
- Must be able to stand throughout their shift.
- Bilingual- English/Spanish

Job Description:
Buscamos personas confiables, detallistas y bilingües para operar y mantener máquinas de conversión e impresión de bolsas de papel. El candidato ideal se siente cómodo trabajando alrededor de maquinaria grande, siguiendo protocolos de seguridad y realizando tareas prácticas de limpieza y ajustes menores para mantener la producción en marcha sin problemas.
Responsibilities:
- Los operadores supervisarán el funcionamiento de nuestras máquinas de impresión de bolsas de papel.
- Leer órdenes para asegurarse de que se está imprimiendo la imagen correcta, utilizando el papel y la tinta adecuados.
- Instalar rollos de papel en el alimentador.
- Asegurarse de que los niveles de tinta sean adecuados.
- Limpiar ciertas áreas de las máquinas.
