JPA Workforce is working with a client in their search to fill a 1st Shift 8 AM – 5 PM, Plate maker position in Carrollton, TX.
The pay rate starts at $17.00 HOURLY.
This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.
Description:
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associates for plate making duties in a packaging manufacturing environment.
The role involves working with chemicals, paying attention to detail, record keeping, and working with cutting tools.
The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
What you'll do:
- Process films to plates using exposing machinery.
- Create Magnesium & Polymer plates.
- Ensure Chemicals are handled & Stored correctly.
- Clean out machinery.
- Pull or put away plate folders for hot stamp and print department.
Education: No formal education required.
Experience: 6 months
Physical:
- Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs),Standing / Walking,Repetitive Motion,Bending / Stooping / Kneeling,PPE Required (Noise / Chemical / Dust),Manual Dexterity
Skills:
- Attention to detail.,Ability to work with cutting tools.,Safely operate chemicals.
