Heavy Lifter

JPA Workforce - Dallas is working to fill a 6AM TO 6PM MON-SAT, Heavy Lifter position in Duncanville, TX. The pay rate is $11.00 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

The Light Lifter will assist with various warehouse and production tasks, including handling lightweight materials, sorting products, packaging items, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Training will be provided for motivated candidates who are eager to learn and grow within the company.

What you'll do:

• Lift, move, sort, and organize lightweight products and materials.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing products for shipment.
• Inspect items for quality and report any damaged products.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow work instructions and production schedules.
• Assist team members with general warehouse and production duties.
• Load and unload lightweight materials as directed.
• Follow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Meet productivity and attendance expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Education: No formal education required.

Physical:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull lightweight items, typically up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to use hands and arms continuously throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in a warehouse or production environment with varying temperatures.
• Ability to wear required PPE and follow safety guidelines.
• Ability to maintain productivity during an entire shift.

Related Experience: Previous warehouse, production, assembly, packing, stocking, or general labor experience is helpful but not required., Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus., Experience following safety procedures and work instructions is beneficial.
