JPA Workforce - Arlington is working to fill a Mon-Wed 5am to 5pm & Thurs 5am to 12pm, Press Operator position in Arlington, TX. The pay rate is $15.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.
Description:
The Press Operator will operate and maintain production press equipment, monitor quality and production output, and ensure safety compliance. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, able to follow standard operating procedures, and committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What you'll do:
- Operate press machinery to produce products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Load raw materials and ensure correct setup of equipment.
- Monitor press operation for defects, malfunctions, or safety hazards.
- Perform routine equipment checks, minor maintenance, and adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate production logs and documentation.
- Ensure products meet quality and measurement standards.
- Follow safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment to meet safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
Education: No formal education required.
Experience:
Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating production equipment or press machinery., Experience in quality control and production monitoring preferred., Familiarity with basic mechanical troubleshooting and machine maintenance is a plus.Physical:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, and move quickly as needed.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, heat, or other production conditions.
- Ability to use hands and arms to operate machinery safely.
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand production instructions and safety protocols.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures accurately.

Related Experience: Experience operating press machines or similar manufacturing equipment., Experience in a production or manufacturing environment., Familiarity with safety procedures in a factory or warehouse setting., Experience performing routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues.
