JPA Workforce - Arlington is working with a client in their search to fill a 1st Shift & 2nd Shift, Janitorial Worker position in Grand Prairie, TX. The pay rate is $17.48 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Job Description:

We are seeking Industrial Janitors to support a fast-paced medical laundry warehouse in Grand Prairie. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, including areas that handle soiled hospital linens. Candidates must be comfortable with physically demanding work and working in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize warehouse floors, work areas, and equipment.
• Handle disposal of waste, including materials from soiled laundry areas.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness in production and shipping zones.
• Support overall facility sanitation in compliance with safety standards.
• Move trash bins, laundry bags, and cleaning equipment (heavy lifting required).
• Restock cleaning supplies and maintain janitorial equipment.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols.

Education: No Requirements

Experience: 6 months

Previous janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred., Experience in warehouses or production environments is a plus., Comfortable working in environments with soiled materials.

Physical:

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
• Ability to handle exposure to soiled laundry and waste materials.

Skills:

• Ability to follow cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Time management and attention to detail.
