JPA Workforce - Arlington is working with a client in their search to fill a 2nd shift 3PM to Finish, Lumper position in Roanoke, TX. The pay rate is $17.00 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Job Description:

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Lumpers to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and packing products for shipment, maintaining inventory integrity, and ensuring timely order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Pick orders accurately from warehouse stock using pick lists, RF scanners, or voice picking systems.
• Pack products securely in appropriate packaging to prevent damage during transit.
• Label packages correctly with shipping information and barcodes.
• Check products for damage or defects before packing.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies or low stock levels.
• Follow safety procedures and comply with company policies.
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks as needed. Keep the work area clean and organized.

Education: No Requirements

Experience: 12 months

2 years of warehouse, distribution center, or logistics experience., On-the-job training provided for entry-level candidates., Prior experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.

Physical:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (may vary depending on company).
• Bending, reaching, squatting, and twisting regularly.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (non-climate-controlled environments).
• Must have manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.

Skills:

• Basic reading and math skills (to read labels, pick lists, and instructions).
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking and packing.
• Time management and ability to meet productivity targets.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, scanners).
• Teamwork and communication skills.
