JPA Workforce - Arlington is working with a client in their search to fill a 1st Shift, Property Technician position in San Antonio, TX. The pay rate is $21.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Property Tech (Maintenance) to support the daily maintenance operations at a warehouse facility in Roanoke, TX. This role is responsible for maintaining the building, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe, clean, and fully operational environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience and strong troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with warehouse equipment and fixtures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs.
• Maintain lighting systems, dock doors, racking, and safety equipment.
• Perform minor carpentry, painting, and general repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance work areas.
• Coordinate with management and vendors for larger repair projects.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and supply inventory.

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or related field preferred.

Experience: 12 months

Experience in property, facilities, or warehouse maintenance required., Experience working in industrial or distribution center environments preferred.

Physical:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods.
• Ability to work at heights when necessary.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Manual dexterity to handle tools and perform detailed repair work.
• Ability to respond to urgent maintenance situations quickly.

Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Ability to read technical manuals and maintenance documentation.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
