JPA Workforce - Arlington is working with a client in their search to fill a 1st Shift 7AM-3:30PM & 2nd Shift 3:30PM - Finish, Quality Control Checker (QC Checker) position in Roanoke, TX. The pay rate is $17.00 to $18.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Logistics Quality Control Technician with expertise in RF scanning. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring the accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments, verifying product integrity, and supporting warehouse operations to maintain the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality control inspections on inbound and outbound shipments.
• Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements and verify product information.
• Identify, document, and report product discrepancies, damages, or quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards.
• Collaborate with shipping, receiving, inventory, and operations teams to resolve inventory or quality issues.
• Support inventory cycle counts and audits, ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Maintain clear records of inspections, findings, and resolutions.
• Ensure packaging and labeling meet required standards.]
• Follow all warehouse safety protocols and report any safety hazards immediately.
• Assist in root cause analysis and process improvements as needed.

Education: No Requirements

Experience: 12 months

Physical:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to identify product defects or quality inconsistencies.
• Basic math and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with RF scanning devices and basic computer systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or within a team.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Skills:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, carts, or other warehouse equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures (dependent on warehouse conditions).
• Use of hands and fingers for scanning, labeling, and inspecting products.
