JPA Workforce - Arlington is working to fill a Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, Trim Operator position in Arlington, TX. The pay rate is $15.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.
Description:
The Trim Operator is responsible for removing excess material from molded rubber parts using precision hand tools. This role requires excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain quality standards while performing repetitive production tasks in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do:
- Trim excess rubber material from finished parts using an X-Acto knife and other hand tools.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy during the trimming process.
- Sort and count completed parts according to production requirements.
- Follow work instructions and quality standards.
- Maintain production efficiency while ensuring product quality.
- Safely handle sharp tools and equipment.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Education: No formal education required.
Physical:
- Ability to perform repetitive hand movements throughout the shift.,Frequent use of hands and fingers for precision trimming tasks.,Ability to sit or stand for extended periods as required.,Good visual acuity for detailed inspection and trimming work.,Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.,Light hand work requiring precision and control.
Skills:
- Strong hand-eye coordination.,Good manual dexterity and steady hands.,Attention to detail and quality.,Ability to safely use an X-Acto knife and similar hand tools.,Basic counting and sorting skills.,Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.,Reliable attendance and punctuality.
