JPA Workforce - Arlington is working with a client in their search to fill a 1st Shift 8AM-5PM, Heavy Lifter position in Grand Prairie, TX. The pay rate is $16.00 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dependable and physically capable Heavy Lifter to join our production team. This position supports the manufacturing process by handling and preparing leather materials used in products such as airplane seats and horse saddles. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity with consistent weekday hours.

Responsibilities:

• Cut and sew leather materials for various products.
• Roll and handle large sheets of leather.
• Assist with material preparation and workflow in the production area.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow safety procedures and production guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.

Education: No Requirements

Experience: 6 months

Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment preferred.

Physical:

• Must be able to lift heavy materials consistently.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
• Capability to handle large rolls of leather.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Skills:

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Basic cutting and sewing skills preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliability and good work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
