JPA Workforce - Arlington is working to fill a 1st Shift 8AM-5PM, Trimmer position in Grand Prairie, TX. The pay rate is $15.00 to $17.00 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary.

Description:

The Trimmer is responsible for operating machinery and performing finishing tasks on molded products, including trimming excess material, inspecting for defects, and preparing items for packaging or further processing. This role ensures that all products meet quality standards and production requirements. The Trimmer/Molder will work in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment and must be comfortable standing for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks. Candidates with experience in warehouse operations, machine operation, trimming, or molding may qualify for higher starting pay, up to $17/hour.

What you'll do:

  • Operate machinery used in trimming and molding processes.
  • Trim excess material from finished products.
  • Inspect products for quality and defects.
  • Follow safety procedures and production guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
  • Meet daily production quotas and deadlines.

Education: No formal education required.

Experience: 11 months

Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, machine operation, trimming, or molding is preferred., Entry-level candidates may be considered with a strong work ethic

Physical:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 30–50 lbs.
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements (trimming/molding tasks).
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.

Skills:

  • Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Attention to detail for quality control.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
