JPA Workforce - Arlington is working with a client in their search to fill a MON-WED 5AM TO 5PM & THURSDAY 5AM TO 12PM, Industrial Painter position in Arlington, TX. The pay rate is $15.00 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Job Description:

Set up, operate, or tend spraying or rolling machines to coat or paint any of a wide variety of products, including glassware, cloth, ceramics, metal, plastic, paper, or wood, with lacquer, silver, copper, rubber, varnish, glaze, enamel, oil, or rust-proofing materials. Includes painters of transportation vehicles such as painters in auto body repair facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare rubber parts for painting by cleaning, masking, or applying primer as required.
  • Apply paint or coating materials using spray guns, brushes, or rollers Ensure even and accurate paint coverage on rubber surfaces.
  • Inspect painted parts for defects such as bubbles, drips, or uneven color.
  • Perform touch-ups and rework when necessary.
  • Follow company quality and safety standards at all times.
  • Maintain and clean painting tools, spray guns, and work area.
  • Mix and prepare paint according to specified color and consistency.
  • Record daily work and report issues to the supervisor.
  • Collaborate with molding and finishing teams to meet production goals.

Education: No Requirements

Experience: 24 months

1-2 years of experience in industrial or rubber painting (preferred but not required).

Physical:

  • Standing for Long Periods: Ability to stand continuously during an 8 to 10-hour shift.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry materials or paint containers up to 20–25 kg.
  • Repetitive Motion: Comfortable performing repetitive painting motions with arms and hands.
  • Exposure to Paint Fumes & Chemicals: Must be able to work in a ventilated area and wear masks or respirators as needed.
  • Bending, Stooping, and Reaching: Frequent body movements to access hard-to-reach parts during painting.
  • Basic Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining spray guns, hoses, and related tools.
  • Safety Awareness: Understanding of PPE, paint handling, and safe chemical usage.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of spray painting techniques and paint preparation.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work standing for long periods and lift light to moderate weights.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety and PPE usage.
  • Willingness to work overtime or shifts when needed.
