Order Picker

JPA Workforce - Arlington is working with a tire distribution warehouse in their search to fill a 1st shift 5:00 - 1:30pm, 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM, Order Picker position.

The pay rate is $15.00 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Pickers to join a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate is efficient, safety-conscious, and able to accurately select and prepare items for shipment.

What you'll do:

• Complete order receipts.
• Obtain tires shelves.
• Read orders to numbers, sizes, and quantities of merchandise.
• Stock shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or on computer.
• Compare merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure that shipments are correct.
• Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
• Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles.
• Dispose of damaged or defective items, or return them to vendors.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Pick and pull tires from warehouse inventory based on order sheets or RF scanners.
• Properly and safely operate equipment such as different types of forklifts

Physical:

• Heavy Lifting (50+ lbs) Must be able to lift and carry tires of ALL sizes.,Standing / Walking,Climbing (Ladders / Scaffolding) MUST NOT be afraid of heights.,Bending / Stooping / Kneeling,Pushing / Pulling,Hot Environments

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.,Ability to work independently and as part of a team.,Time management and reliability to meet shift schedules.
