JPA Workforce is working with a client in their search to fill a 1st and 2nd shift.
7am to 3:30pm or 3:30pm to finish, Forklift Operator position in Roanoke, TX.
The pay rate is $17.00 hourly for 1st shift. $18.00 hourly for 2nsd shift.
Description:
Reliable and safety-focused Forklift Driver with 1+ years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations, material handling, and inventory management.
Certified in forklift operation and known for maintaining a clean safety record, strong work ethic, and efficiency in fast-paced environments.
Adept at loading/unloading goods, maintaining equipment, and supporting team operations to ensure smooth warehouse workflow.
What you'll do:
- Safely Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts.
- Follow safety protocols and warehouse procedures. Move and Stack Materials
- Move pallets to storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
- Stack goods properly to avoid damage or accidents.
- Inspect Forklift and Equipment. Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance issues.
- Ensure the forklift is fueled or charged and in good working condition. Inventory and Record Keeping
- Scan or manually record items moved. Assist with inventory counts and stock
- rotation. Maintain a Clean Work Area Keep aisles and storage areas clean and
- organized. Dispose of waste materials following warehouse standards.
- Collaborate with Team Communicate with supervisors and other warehouse staff.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed (e.g., packaging, sorting).
Education: No formal education required.
Experience: 6 months
Must have full knowledge on forklift operation., Rf Scanning.
Physical:
- Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs),Standing / Walking,Repetitive Motion,Bending / Stooping / Kneeling,Pushing / Pulling,Hot Environments,Manual Dexterity,Climbing (Ladders / Scaffolding)
Skills:
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
- Problem-Solving - React quickly and appropriately to unexpected situations (e.g. Obstructions, faulty equipment).
- Time Management
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines and shipping schedules.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.

Job Description:
Conductor de Montacargas confiable y enfocado en la seguridad, con más de 1 año de experiencia práctica en operaciones de almacén, manejo de materiales y gestión de inventario.
Certificado en operación de montacargas y conocido por mantener un historial de seguridad limpio, fuerte ética laboral y eficiencia en entornos de ritmo rápido.
Hábil en cargar/descargar mercancías, mantener el equipo y apoyar las operaciones del equipo para garantizar un flujo de trabajo fluido en el almacén.
Responsibilities:
- Cargar, descargar y transportar materiales de manera segura utilizando montacargas.
- Seguir los protocolos de seguridad y procedimientos del almacén. Mover y apilar materiales.
- Mover pallets a áreas de almacenamiento, líneas de producción o muelles de envío.
- Apilar mercancías correctamente para evitar daños o accidentes.
- Inspeccionar el montacargas y el equipo. Realizar revisiones diarias del equipo y reportar problemas de mantenimiento.
- Asegurar que el montacargas esté lleno de combustible o cargado y en buenas condiciones de funcionamiento. Inventario y registro.
- Escanear o registrar manualmente los artículos movidos. Ayudar con conteos de inventario y rotación de stock.
- Mantener un área de trabajo limpia. Mantener pasillos y áreas de almacenamiento limpias y organizadas. Desechar materiales de desecho siguiendo los estándares del almacén.
- Colaborar con el equipo. Comunicarse con supervisores y otros empleados del almacén.
- Ayudar con otras tareas del almacén según sea necesario (por ejemplo, embalaje, clasificación).
Education: No Requirements
Experience: 6 months
