JPA Workforce is working with a distribution warehouse in their search to fill a 1st and 2nd shift.

7am to 3:30pm or 3:30pm to finish, Forklift Clamp Operator position in Roanoke, TX.

The pay rate is $17.00 hourly for 1st shift. $18.00 hourly for 2nd shift.

Description:

Reliable and safety-focused Forklift Clamp Driver with 1+ years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations, material handling, and inventory management.

Certified in forklift operation and known for maintaining a clean safety record, strong work ethic, and efficiency in fast-paced environments.

Adept at loading/unloading goods, maintaining equipment, and supporting team operations to ensure smooth warehouse workflow.

What you'll do:

• Safely Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts.
• Follow safety protocols and warehouse procedures. Move and Stack Materials
• Move pallets to storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
• Stack goods properly to avoid damage or accidents.
• Inspect Forklift and Equipment. Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance issues.
• Ensure the forklift is fueled or charged and in good working condition. Inventory and Record Keeping
• Scan or manually record items moved. Assist with inventory counts and stock
• rotation. Maintain a Clean Work Area Keep aisles and storage areas clean and
• organized. Dispose of waste materials following warehouse standards.
• Collaborate with Team Communicate with supervisors and other warehouse staff.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed (e.g., packaging, sorting).

Experience: 6 months

Must have full knowledge of the clamp forklift operation., Rf Scanning.

Physical:

• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs),Standing / Walking,Repetitive Motion,Bending / Stooping / Kneeling,Pushing / Pulling,Hot Environments,Manual Dexterity,Climbing (Ladders / Scaffolding)

Skills:

• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.,Problem-Solving - React quickly and appropriately to unexpected situations (e.g. Obstructions, faulty equipment).,Time Management,Work efficiently to meet deadlines and shipping schedules.,Bilingual preferred but not required.
